Alutag GmbH approaches surface problems by correlating defect appearance with production history and process conditions. The goal is to narrow the investigation to the mechanisms capable of producing the observed defect rather than changing multiple parameters without evidence.
Corrective actions are selected according to technical relevance and verified in production. For surface-sensitive products, the work can also include operating window review and preventive measures to increase repeatability.
